About

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, Rotterdam School of Management of Erasmus University, the Netherlands. I have obtained my Ph.D. at Tilburg University, where I also completed a Research Master in Business with a specialization in Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University. My research centers on the question of how novelty, usefulness, and performance interrelate. In particular, I am interested in studying why some individuals and organizations are able to reap greater rewards from their distinctive, creative, or novel behaviour compared to their peers — with a particular interest in the social and institutional processes at play. I also write about methods such as topic modeling and investigating curvilinear relationships.

As I am currently revamping the content of this web page, please refer to my Google Scholar page for further information on my publications, and my Github page for some workshops I have given on topic modeling.
